FIRE!

Fire on the mountain run run run.....This fire drill thingy was conducted in ma college today. We were intimated by our lecturer yesterday so we were kindda expecting fire! Believe me, students had to skip class because of this. Was it the grammar or is it an allergy. Drill!
Midway in-between Eng. Maths IV class, this deafening alarm sounded and we were ordered to exit the building using the staircase. What a good work-out for 10am in the morning! I couldn't help wondering, if there really was fire, would we have strolled out nochalantly the way we did? From the statistics taken by the firemen we evacuated the building in 'bout 7mins time. Isn't that enough time to get roasted? Reminds me of the earthquale thingy where we had to converge outside the building. Should much effort be put into making people realise that their safety is their sole responsibility?
Classes resumed after wasting our damned 10mins....with less students in the class anyway. Some siezed the moment and went on a french leave...not that it would deter Mr. Fu from downloading another topic into our frightened CPUs. If you look at it logically, the drill thingy wasn't really a neccessity or, are they telling us somebody is planning to roast some flesh soon?
Classes today were very challenging but no fun. I was so not in the mood for anything but sleep nah...think. Figured out that the month's ending today. This is really not a good time to end. I wish I could con maself to believing that it is just in ma head...."Mbiong adiok".
